Where the Passion for Food is created!
Born in Italy, Chef Ruben's family moved to Argentina where he entered culinary school and studied to be a pastry chef. He worked in Buenos Aires for 20 years as a master pastry chef and executive chef.
In 2001, Ruben came to the United States,and was executive chef in Boston, at Veccia Roma Italian Restaurant as well as Executive Pastry Chef in Rustic Kitchen Italian Restaurant.
Making the move in 2007 to Charleston, Chef Ruben worked at La Pizzeria, in Mount Pleasant, and Liberty Tapas Room, Bella Napoli, and most recently, ran La Fontana North Charleston.
Chef Ruben is thrilled to be able to bring his passion for food to the Summerville area and hopes you will experience ITALY, Passion for Food soon.
